(KBSI) Southbound Route 67 in St. Francois County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge work.

This section of roadway is located over the Flat River in Park Hills, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Sept.22 through Thursday, Sept. 25 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
An earth stabilization project has resumed on U.S. 51 in Ballard County this week.

A lane restriction is in place near mile point 2.8, south of Wickliffe, with alternating flow controlled by a temporary traffic signal. The lane closure will remain in effect 24 hours a day.

Work is expected to continue through approximately Monday, Sept. 22, weather permitting.
