(KBSI) A temporary closure on KY 1382, south of KY 94 in Graves County, has been delayed for about one week.

The project involves the rehabilitation of a bridge over Powell Creek at mile point 2.85. The bridge, located between KY 94 and the Kentucky-Tennessee State Line, is currently posted with an 11-ton weight limit.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 1 will provide notice ahead of the rescheduled closure.

Route D in New Madrid County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance.

This section of roadway is located between Route 153 and County Road 531 near Parma, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, Sept. 4 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
