Paducah begins tree planting for Noble Park centennial

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — The City of Paducah has begun planting trees at Noble Park as part of its 100th anniversary celebration.

Parks and Recreation staff, along with volunteers, planted the first 35 trees Tuesday. The plantings include white oak, red maple, sugar maple and bald cypress.

City officials said the effort is part of a larger initiative to plant 100 trees in honor of the park’s centennial.
