Paducah hotel sting leads to arrest of woman on prostitution, drug charges

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — UPDATE: A Ballard County woman was arrested Tuesday morning at a Paducah hotel on prostitution and drug charges, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office said.

Jasmine D. Shackles, 25, of Wickliffe, was taken into custody around 11 a.m. at a hotel on Cairo Road after a sheriff’s detective, acting undercover, contacted her through a website posting prostitution ads.

Shackles agreed to provide sexual services in exchange for money, leading to her arrest. A search of her belongings turned up a small quantity of cocaine and marijuana.

Shackles was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail on charges including prostitution, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
