Paducah Main Street marks Small Business Month with downtown progress update

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) – Paducah Main Street marked National Small Business Month with a networking event and update on downtown progress.

The event was held at the organization’s Broadway office, where George Bray thanked local businesses and sponsors for their support and highlighted recent changes to the program’s structure.

Officials said Paducah Main Street recently transitioned from a division of the city’s planning department to a standalone organization supported by city funding.

Executive Director Blaine McDonald and Assistant Director Carly Dick presented data showing growth in areas such as business outreach, investment and beautification efforts since July 2025.

City officials said the program continues to focus on strengthening downtown development and supporting small businesses.
