Paducah man arrested after 28 grams of meth, 18 pounds of marijuana found
PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – A Paducah man faces drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop on Tuesday afternoon.
Luciano Lucatero, 39, faces charges of failure to signal, no operator’s license, trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in marijuana over 5 pounds and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Paducah man on drug trafficking offenses Tuesday afternoon following a traffic stop in Paducah.
Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle for traffic infractions on Wayne Sullivan Drive around 1:22 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23.
Detectives identified the driver of the vehicle as Lucatero.
Lucatero did not have a driver’s license. Detectives searched the vehicle and found 28 grams of crystal methamphetamine packaged for sale and a digital scale, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.
Lucatero was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
Detectives obtained a search warrant for Lucatero’s home on Hayes Avenue in Paducah. Detectives found a loaded .380 caliber handgun and about 18 pounds of marijuana that was concealed in the trunk of a vehicle on the property, according to the sheriff’s office.
The investigation continues.
