Paducah man arrested on meth trafficking charges, outstanding warrants

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — Michael P. Walker, 46, of Paducah was arrested Monday afternoon on outstanding warrants and methamphetamine trafficking charges.

McCracken County Sheriff’s Office detectives were conducting surveillance on North 8th Street when they spotted Walker getting into a vehicle at a local business. Detectives knew Walker was wanted on multiple outstanding warrants.

Walker was stopped on HC Mathis Drive, placed under arrest, and found with a small quantity of methamphetamine in his pocket. An additional 18 grams of crystal methamphetamine was discovered inside the vehicle.

Walker was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail on charges including three outstanding bench warrants, trafficking in methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
