Paducah man faces drug charges after large amounts of crystal meth found

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – A Paducah man faces charges after police say he was found with large amounts of crystal methamphetamine.

Marcus S. Johnson, 38, of Paducah faces three counts of trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense/drug paraphernalia (buy/possess).

Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office identified Johnson as a source of supply for crystal methamphetamine. During the investigation detectives made numerous methamphetamine purchases from Johnson, according to the sheriff’s office.

Detectives obtained search warrants for Johnson’s home at 1024 Tennessee Street in Paducah. Detectives also obtained arrest warrants for Johnson. The search warrants were executed on June 16. Johnson was arrested.

During the investigation detectives seized approximately 321 grams of crystal methamphetamine, cash, and small amounts of marijuana.

Johnson was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
