Paducah man facing charges in connection with 2 shootings

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – A Paducah man faces charge after police say he was involved in two shootings.

Lamarcus J. Holland, 21, of Wheeler Avenue faces charges of wanton endangerment 1st degree, criminal mischief 3rd degree and no operator’s license. He also faces 16 counts of first-degree wanton endangerment for a shooting in March.

The Paducah Police Department received numerous tips on May 1 from the community that Lamarcus “LJ” Holland was staying at a home in Paducah.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for the home.

The Paducah Police SWAT team served the search warrant Wednesday afternoon (May 1) and arrested Holland.

While speaking with detectives, police say he admitted to being involved in the April 3 shooting as well as another shooting in Paducah on March 11.

Paducah police thanked the community members who came forward and provided information that led to Holland’s arrest.

Holland was booked into the McCracken County Jail.
