Paducah man facing drug charges after search of home

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – A Paducah man faces drug charges after authorities searched his home on Thursday.

McCracken County Sheriff’s Office Drug Division detectives with help from the Kentucky Department of Corrections Probation and Parole office searched a home on South 28th Street in Paducah on September 28.

Jemo U. Mayes, 54, of Paducah faces charges of possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 3rd of greater offense-cocaine, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia-buy/posses.

Detectives and officers with Probation and Parole contacted Mayes at his home. He was on supervision through probabtion and parole for other offenses.

During a search, law enforcement found cocaine, marijuana, ammunition and items of drug paraphernalis inside the home.

Mayes was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
