Paducah man facing drug charges after traffic stop

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Paducah man faces drug and other charges after a traffic stop on Wednesday.

A McCracken County sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop on Benton Road for traffic violations on June 14 around 1:15 a.m.

The sheriff’s deputy determined that Rickie Brown, 44, was in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.

Brown faces charges of possession of controlled substance – 1st degree – methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, rear license not illuminated, disregarding stop sign, expired license plate, no registration receipt and failure to maintain insurance.

Brown was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
