Paducah man facing drug charges after traffic stop leads to meth bust

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A man faces drug charges after a traffic stop early Tuesday morning in McCracken County.

James F. Cole, 60, of Paducah faces charges of possession of controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (methamphetamine), drug paraphernalia buy/possess and rear license not illuminated.

Deputies with McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a 2006 Chevy pickup truck on Lovelaceville Road at 2:17 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18. The vehicle was a 2006 Chevy pickup truck.

Deputies discovered Cole was in possession of crystal methamphetamine and other items related to drug paraphernalia, according to the sheriff’s office.

He was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
