Paducah man facing meth, drug paraphernalia charges

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Paducah man faces meth and other charges after the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a drug investigation.

Alonzo Vasser, 50, faces charges of trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Monday, March 13, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office initiated a drug investigation that identified Vasser as a source of supply for methamphetamine.

Detectives contacted Vasser and arranged to purchase four ounces of crystal methamphetamine from him.

Vasser was stopped and arrested during a traffic stop on Coleman Road a short time later.

Detectives seized approximately 114 grams of crystal methamphetamine, a digital scale, and money believed to be proceeds of illegal drug sales, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.
