MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Paducah man faces several charges after sheriff’s deputies say he ran away from a deputy during a traffic stop.

Christopher Burrow, 39, of Paducah faces charges of no operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, operating on a suspended/revoked license, speeding 26+ miles per hour over speed limit, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of controlled substance (cocaine), fleeing and evading police (motor vehicle & on foot), disregarding stop sign and no tail lamps.

McCracken County Sheriff’s Deputy Brendan Weldon tried to conduct a traffic enforcement stop on a driver in the area of Goodman Street & S. 28th Street around 11:14 p.m. on Thursday, July 18.

He says Burrow failed to stop and continued down Goodman Street. The driver traveled through the residential neighborhood for a short time and ultimately stopped in the front yard of a home on Schneidman Road.

The deputy says Burrow ran from the vehicle. A short time later, he was found in the area and taken arrested.

The Paducah Police Department assisted the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.

Burrow was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
