Paducah man facing several charges after vehicle collides with telephone pole

(KBSI) – A Paducah man faces several charges after a vehicle collided with a telephone pole.

Ronnie Allen, 49, of Paducah faces charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of substance 4th or more offense, possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 3rd or more offense (methamphetamine), possession of controlled substance 3rd degree, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal mischief 1st degree.

McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to 6970 Old Mayfield Road around 4:42 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 11 for a single vehicle colliding with a telephone pole.

Ronnie Allen, 49, of Paducah was driving a 2005 Ford on Old Mayfield Road when he went off the road and struck the telephone pole, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.

Allen was determined to be under the influence and in possession of methamphetamine, Xanax and drug paraphernalia, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.
