Paducah man killed in single-vehicle crash in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — A Paducah man was killed Thursday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash on Old U.S. Highway 60, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 2:20 p.m. June 25 to the area of Old U.S. Highway 60 and Mayfield Metropolis Road for a reported crash.
Investigators said Dean Tedrow, 38, of Paducah, was driving a 2008 Ford Ranger westbound on Old U.S. Highway 60 when, for reasons still under investigation, the pickup crossed into the eastbound lane, continued onto the south shoulder and struck the concrete headwall of a drainage culvert head-on.
Tedrow was pronounced dead at the scene by McCracken County Deputy Coroner Tyler Crane.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Mercy Regional Ambulance, Concord Fire Department, Paducah Fire Department, McCracken County Department of Emergency Services, Stinnett’s Towing and the McCracken County Coroner’s Office.
The crash remains under investigation.
