Paducah man taken into custody following disturbance call

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Ryan J. Ellis, 35, of Paducah, was taken into custody on Aug. 1, after deputies responded to a disturbance call on Old Hinkleville Road.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, Ellis allegedly damaged property and fired multiple rounds into a residence occupied by two people. Ellis was arrested and charged with several offenses, including wanton endangerment, burglary, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

The investigation is ongoing. Multiple law enforcement agencies assisted in the response.
