Paducah, McCracken County law enforcement, school hold Christmas in July

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – Officers and deputies from Paducah Police Department, McCracken County Public Schools, and McCracken County Sheriff’s Office partnered with Paducah Area Christmas Cops for our annual Christmas in July event.

Law enforcement professionals were partnered with local families to help get the kids ready for back to school with a shopping trip at Kentucky Oaks Mall.

After the kids shopped for school clothes, they and their families were treated to lunch at the food court.

“It was a great event that was enjoyed by officers, deputies, students, and their families,” according to a post on Paducah Police Department’s Facebook page. “We’d like to thank Kentucky Oaks Mall and Paducah Area Christmas Cops for their assistance in making this event possible.”

Paducah Area Christmas Cops is a local 501(c)(3) that provides assistance to families in the Paducah Area with the assistance of local law enforcement agencies.
