Paducah motorcyclist dies from injuries after crash

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — A Paducah motorcyclist has died from injuries sustained in a crash involving a pickup truck.
Paducah police responded to the intersection of Irvin Cobb Drive and Paducah Bank Drive around 5:34 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12.
According to a preliminary investigation, 79-year-old Michael Young of Paducah was attempting to turn left from Paducah Bank Drive onto Irvin Cobb Drive when his Ford F-150 was struck by a Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by 57-year-old Robert Meyer of Paducah.
Meyer was taken to Baptist Health Paducah before being transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, where he later died from his injuries.
The Paducah Police Department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate.
