Paducah police ask for info from public after man injured in shooting

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – Paducah police ask for the public’s help after a shooting Wednesday night.
Police say it happened on Monroe Street late at night. Officers received a call about “shots fired” in the 2200 block of Monroe Street.
The found spent shell casings in the 2200 and 2700 blocks of Monroe Street.
Police say a single projectile had struck a home.
No one in the home was injured.
Officers learned that a man had been shot in the foot and was being treated at a local hospital.
The man was treated and later released.
Detectives responded to the scene and continue to investigate.
