Paducah police give update in connection with weekend shooting

PADUCAH, Ky.,(KBSI) — A 16-year-old male has been taken into custody in connection with a weekend shooting incident that injured three people.

The Paducah Police Department’s SWAT team and detectives served a search warrant at a residence in Paducah on Sunday, recovering additional evidence and taking the juvenile into custody.

The 16-year-old was charged with three counts of first-degree assault and lodged at the McCracken Regional Juvenile Detention Facility.

A 14-year-old male was also taken into custody at the residence on an unrelated charge of criminal facilitation of first-degree robbery.
