Paducah police investigate discovery of human remains

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — Paducah police are investigating a death after contractors discovered human remains in a wooded area near the 1300 block of Tennessee Street on Thursday.

Officers responded around 12:22 p.m. after receiving the report. Police said the remains were in an advanced state of decomposition. The McCracken County Coroner’s Office has scheduled an autopsy for Friday.
