Paducah police K-9 teams honored with Quilts of Honor

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) — Two Paducah Police Department K-9 teams were honored Friday during a ceremony hosted by the American Quilter’s Society.

Officer Benjamin Anthony and his K-9 partner, Bary, along with Officer Noah Willett and his K-9 partner, Karo, were each presented with a Quilt of Honor recognizing their service and bravery.

The K-9 Quilts of Honor program was founded by Carolyn and Rudy Bluhm to recognize police dogs and their handlers across the country.

Police officials said they are grateful for the recognition and support.
