Paducah police make additional arrest, file new charges in ongoing investigation
PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — A third arrest has been made in connection with a shooting incident, police said.
Malik Q. Copeland, 18, of Paducah, was arrested Sunday and charged with three counts of first-degree assault. He was lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
Police said detectives determined Copeland fired a handgun multiple times toward the area where the victims were standing.
Additionally, Capus J. Adams, who was previously arrested on multiple charges, now faces an additional charge of complicity to commit first-degree assault.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information or video to contact detectives at 270-444-8550 or submit information anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
