Paducah Police welcome new K-9 Officer


PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI)- The Paducah Police Department is pleased to announce the addition of Officer Noah Willett and his K-9 partner, Karo, to its K-9 team.

Willett and Karo recently completed training at Southern Ohio Police K9 in Brown County, Ohio. Karo, a 1 1/2-year-old Belgian Malinois from the Czech Republic, joins the department’s K-9 unit.

During training, Willett and Karo earned certifications in obedience, tracking, article searches, narcotic searches, handler protection and criminal apprehension.

Willett, a four-year veteran of the Paducah Police Department, will be assigned to the 2nd shift with Karo.

The Paducah Police Foundation provided financial support for the acquisition of the K-9 team. The department expresses gratitude for the foundation’s continued support of the community.
