Paducah to celebrate completion of 911 radio tower project

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — City and county officials will celebrate the completion of the 911 Radio Tower Project during a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The project marks the end of five years of planning and collaboration between the City of Paducah and McCracken County aimed at improving emergency communications throughout the region.
Officials said the new radio system will enhance communication coverage and reliability for first responders, public safety agencies and residents.
The ceremony will feature remarks from local leaders, an overview of the project and a formal dedication of the new tower.
City officials said the upgraded system is designed to strengthen emergency response capabilities and improve communication among agencies serving the community.
