Paducah to host Spring Clean Up Day April 18 for residents

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — Paducah and McCracken County residents can dispose of unwanted items during Spring Clean Up Day on Saturday, April 18.
The event will be held from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine, at the Republic Services transfer station at 829 Burnett St.
Officials said the free event is open to local residents with proof of residency required. Accepted items include household trash, hazardous waste, tires, appliances and electronic waste.
Medical, commercial and radioactive waste will not be accepted.
Residents must bring a photo ID to verify eligibility.
