Paducah woman faces charges after police say shot fired at car with 3 people

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) – A Paducah woman faces charges after police say she fired a shot at a car that had three people in it on Sunday afternoon.
Kemeya White, 21, of Paducah, faces three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
Paducah police say she fired a shot at a car occupied by three people Sunday afternoon in Paducah’s Forrest Hills neighborhood.
Police were called to a report of “shots fired” in the 500 block of Jameswood Drive.
A man told officers he had come to retrieve some of his property from the home of White, his ex-girlfriend.
He said White came out of her apartment with a handgun, Witnesses say she fired one shot in the direction of the car, according to police. The car was not struck.
White was arrested on three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and booked into McCracken County Regional Jail.
