Paducah woman faces drug charges after a traffic stop

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – A woman faces multiple charges after a traffic stop when authorities say a sheriff’s deputy found bags of crystal meth inside her vehicle.
Sheila D. Thacker, 63, of Paducah faces charges of trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree, drug paraphernalia-buy/possess, no operators license and failure to or improper signal.
On November 2, a McCracken County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area of Irvin Cobb and Brown Street.
The driver, Thacker, did not have a driver’s license, according to a post on the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.
During the traffic stop the deputy searched the vehicle and found 18 grams of crystal methamphetamine packaged for sale in multiple bags.
Thacker was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
