Paducah woman facing arson charges after fire

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Paducah woman faces arson charges after emergency crews responded to a fire Monday, March 11.

McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies and Reidland firefighters responded to the 2200 block of Ted Williams Road to the complaint of a structure fire.

Firefighters and deputies determined that the fire was suspicious.

Sheriff’s detectives say Crystal D. Stinnett, 31, of Paducah had set a fire inside of the home while it was occupied.

The structure was a total loss.

Another camper nearby the home also sustained significant fire damage.

Stinnett faces arson first degree and arson second degree charges.

She was taken to the McCracken County Regional Detention Center.

Reidland/Farley Fire Department and Mercy Ambulance Service assisted the sheriff’s office at the scene.
