Paducah woman facing drug charges after traffic stop

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Paducah woman faces drug and other charges after a traffic stop Thursday afternoon.
McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on a white 2011 Chevrolet Suburban for a traffic violation on July 13 around 4:25 p.m.
During the traffic stop, the driver was identified as 28-year-old Chelsea Haney of Paducah.
Haney was found to be in possession of a small quantity of methamphetamine, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.
Haney faces charges of no registration plates, failure of owner to maintain insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 2nd offense (methamphetamine).
She was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Jail.
