Parade of Bands to go through Jackson

JACKSON, Mo. (KBSI) – Local bands from Southeast Missouri will move through uptown Jackson for a festival parade.

The Band Festival parade will be on Tuesday, October 1st at 4:00 pm.

The parade of bands will go through the uptown Jackson area along High, Main and Russel streets.

The Jackson Police Department says that all vehicles parked after 2:00pm along the parade route will be towed off the street at the owner’s expense.

This precaution is to ensure the safety of those in the parade and watching the parade.

Parking will be restored immediately following the parade.

The Jackson Police Department asks that you use caution on roadways.
