Parma man facing enticement of child charge

PARMA, Mo. (KBSI) – A Parma man was arrested after the New Madrid County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Biker Against Predators.
Kenneth W. Rye, 30, of Parma, faces charges of enticement of a child.
The New Madrid County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Bikers Against Predators on July 25 in reference to a man trying to make a connection with an 11-year-old girl.
Bikers Against Predators is a non-profit organization that works to expose child predators.
Deputies responded to the location for investigation.
Deputies made contact with the reporting party who identified the suspect as Rye.
The reporting party provided documentation of the allegations.
Rye was arrested and taken to the New Madrid County Sheriff’s Office.
After conducting the initial investigation, a Probable Cause Affidavit was filed with the New Madrid County Prosecutor’s Office.
A warrant for enticement of a dhild was issued with a $250,000 cash only bond.
Rye is being held in the Mississippi County Jail on the warrant.
The investigation continues.
Authorities say further charges could be filed.
