Passport services available at Cape Girardeau Public Library

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Need a passport? You can get one at the Cape Girardeau Public Library.

“When the Department of State reached out to a bunch of different libraries not just us wanting to try to like create a connection with the community and libraries and kind of just add one more element to it doing passports gets people in the doors,” said Kayla Thompson, Adult Services Coordinator at the Cape Girardeau Public Library.

The library is a designated passport acceptance facility. Passport services, including passport photos, are available by appointment Monday through Saturday.

Visit capelibrary.org. Library staff at the User Services Desk will direct you to the appropriate department to begin the process.
