Pedestrian died after getting hit by a vehicle
MARION, IL (KBSI) – Jana M. Lence of Herrin, IL was struck and killed while trying to cross Lake of Egypt Rd. at around 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 14.
Lence died after being transported by EMS. The driver is a 17-year-old juvenile who was driving home from work. Deputies with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office found no signs of impairment and the subject submitted a voluntary drug and alcohol screening at a local hospital.
