Perry County Commission accepting applications for hospital trustee position

PERRYVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — The Perry County Commission is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Perry County Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees following the resignation of Board President Joe Hutchinson.

According to the county, the commission will appoint a replacement to serve until the next general municipal election on April 7, 2027, in accordance with Missouri law governing hospital board vacancies.

Applications for the position will be accepted through May 31.

Interested applicants can obtain applications online through the Perry County website or in person at the Perry County Clerk’s Office inside the historic courthouse at 15 W. Ste. Marie St., Suite 2, in Perryville.

The Perry County Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees oversees the governance and operations of Perry County Memorial Hospital. Board members serve five-year elected terms, and the board meets on the last Thursday of each month.
