Perry County Community Foundation offers emergency grants for ice storm relief

PERRY COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) — The Perry County Community Foundation has launched an emergency grant program to aid in relief efforts following the devastating ice storm that hit the area on Jan. 5, 2025.

The foundation is accepting applications from eligible organizations, including 501(c)3 entities, government agencies, school districts and churches serving Perry County residents.

Grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 will be awarded on a rolling basis, with weekly reviews taking place on Tuesdays.

The application period will close on May 1, 2025, or when funds are depleted.

The Perry County Community Foundation and generous donors are funding this grant program.

Checks can also be dropped off at the Perryville City Hall or the County Clerk’s office.

The Perry County Family Relief Fund was established in 2018 to support local families affected by a tornado and has been reactivated to aid in ice storm relief efforts.
