Perry County dealing with emergency phoneline issues
PERRY COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI)- Sheriff Jason Klaus with the Perry County Sheriff’s Department says they have been dealing with some outages in regard to 911.
Right now, both the Perryville Police Department and the Perry County Sheriff’s Department phone lines are down.
He says Charter Spectrum has informed them of some cut fibers within the infrastructure.
Each time it’s happened the sheriff’s department gets notified.
Klaus says they are doing their best to get through it and want to keep the public informed when it happens.
As of now 911 phone lines are in working order.
