Perry County School District #32 mourns death of beloved educator

PERRY COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) — Perry County School District 32 is mourning the death of longtime teacher, coach and bus driver Billy Pickle.

District officials said Pickle was a beloved member of the District 32 community whose wisdom and humor left a lasting impact on students and colleagues. His legacy continues through the annual “Coach Pickle Award,” which is presented to the top senior male athlete at Perryville High School.

District leaders extended condolences to Pickle’s family and all those affected by his passing.
