Perryville Chamber celebrates ribbon cutting at Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial

PERRYVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — The Perryville Chamber of Commerce joined community members Tuesday to celebrate a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial, marking the dedication of the site’s newest addition — the Sidewalk Expansion Project.

The new sidewalks connect The Old Guard Monument to both the east and west ends of America’s Wall, improving accessibility and connection across the memorial grounds for veterans, their families, and visitors.

Chamber officials said the project enhances the memorial’s mission of honoring service members while creating a more welcoming and inclusive space for reflection and remembrance.
