Perryville getting ready for Mayfest

PERRYVILLE, Mo. (KBSI) – The Chamber of Commerce in Perryville is getting ready for its annual Mayfest.

The Mayfest is a kickoff to the summer where vendors of all kinds come to sell their goods, and all can enjoy live music and carnival rides.

The Mayfest carnival is in town May 10-13.

Friday, May 12

  • 1 p.m. – plant sale – Faherty House
  • 5 p.m. – food and drink stands open
  • 5 p.m. – carnival opens
  • 6 p.m. – Mayfest parade – beginning at the park
  • 7 p.m. – Concert – Well Hungarians

Saturday, May 13

  • 8 a.m. – 5K run/walk – Perry Park Center
  • 8 a.m. – plant sale
  • 9 a.m. – craft fair – downtown square
  • 9 a.m. – car/truck show – Knights of Columbus parking lot on St. Joseph Street
  • 10 a.m. – Diaper Derby & Decorating Contest at the Stage – American Homes Realty
  • 10:30 a.m. – food & drink stands open
  • 11 a.m. – Perryville Dance Company at the Stage
  • 11 a.m. – Mountain biking and caving on Jackson Street
  • 1 p.m. – carnival opens
  • 2 p.m. – Music – UMBRA
  • 5 p.m. – Washer tournament – Rotary Club
  • 7 p.m. – Concert – Crossroads
