Perryville native wins major award at the American Music Awards

PERRYVILLE, Mo. (KBSI) — Sam Barber, a native of Perryville, won the Breakthrough Country Artist award at the American Music Awards.

CMT announced Barber’s win during the awards show broadcast alongside CBS.

Barber has gained national attention for his rising country music career and growing fan base.
