1 arrested in connection to Sikeston dance studio shooting

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – A woman was arrested during a traffic stop on an outstanding warrant.

Quanishia Brooks was arrested by a Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s deputy during a traffic stop on Friday, August 23.

During the investigation, the deputy discovered that Brooks had an outstanding warrant from Scott County on 13 counts of 1st-degree assault charges to a shooting incident at a dance studio in Sikeston.

After her arrest, Brooks was handed over to Scott County where she faces charges.
