PHS band students strike gold, silver at state festival

PERRYVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — Perryville High School band students excelled at the MSHSAA State Solo and Ensemble Festival, earning top honors.

Cara Fulmer won a gold medal for her baritone saxophone solo. Silver medals were awarded to:

— Hallie Figge, clarinet solo
— Ayla Schuler, piano solo
— Kristina Kishbaugh, flute solo

The students’ outstanding performances were recognized at the festival.
