Physical therapy business grants scholarships for employees
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO. (KBSI) – Premiere Physical Therapy in Cape Girardeau presented two students with $1,000 scholarships.
The scholarships are granted to help encourage students to pursue a career in the healthcare field.
“The actual students that are eligible for the scholarships, they’re employees or part of the Premier team,” said Premier Physical Therapy CEO Dennis Riney. “They can be part of any of our three locations here at Cape or Jackson or Advance.”
This year’s scholarships were granted to Ashleigh Stegmann attending Southern Illinois University of Carbondale and Seth Spraggs attending Cape Girardeau career and technology center.
Premier Physical Therapy started the scholarship program last year and now grant two scholarships a year.
“Since the time Premier started 17 years ago it was always our idea and our vision to be a learning institution or facility to promote others, so we had the idea of giving back and giving students an opportunity,” Riney explained.
