Pickleball courts in Paducah closed for finishing touches

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – The city of Paducah announces the closure of Noble Park pickle ball courts for the construction of the final elements from Monday, September 11 to Wednesday, September 13.
While closed the crew will be touching up the playing surfaces as well as pouring concrete footers and installing canopies according to the city of Paducah.
In addition to this, there will be a cross walk added to the roadway between the courts and the restrooms. Painting of the cross walk will begin Tuesday morning September 12 which will require the closure of the park’s outer roadway. However, the tennis courts will remain accessible by foot traffic during the cross walk installation.
Earlier this year the city approved a contract with PCC sports to construct the courts with amenities. On September 1 the city held a ribbon cutting ceremony was held.
