Planned power outage to affect eastern Calloway County Thursday night

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation has scheduled a power outage for Thursday night that will affect customers in eastern Calloway County.

The outage is scheduled to begin at 10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, and is expected to last approximately two hours.

According to WKRECC, the outage will affect members beginning at Cohoon Road and continuing east along Pottertown Road.

The cooperative said the outage is necessary for crews to install a new power line.
