Police arrest 2 juveniles in connection with robbery, assault in Cape

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Police have arrested two juveniles in connection with a robbery and assault that occurred Wednesday afternoon.

According to authorities, the victim was waiting at a bus stop when a green Kia Sol drove by, made a U-turn and returned to the victim. Three males exited the vehicle and demanded the victim empty his pockets. When the victim refused, the suspects assaulted him, stealing his cell phone and vape.

Police used the FLOCK camera system to track the suspect vehicle to a parking lot, where they conducted a traffic stop and arrested a female juvenile and a male juvenile. Two other juvenile suspects remain at large.
