Police department conducts active threat training for local church

CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) – On Feb. 15, the police department provided active threat training for staff at Epiphany Lutheran Church, teaching strategies for reducing and mitigating incidents.

The training, offered at no cost, is available to houses of worship, schools and businesses interested in learning more about active threat response.
