Police investigate reported attempted kidnapping at Bollinger County Fall Festival

MARBLE HILL, Mo., (KBSI) — The Marble Hill Police Department is investigating a report of an attempted kidnapping Saturday evening at the Bollinger County Fall Festival.
Police said officers were called around 8 p.m. after a man reported that two male subjects approached him from behind as he walked to his vehicle carrying his young daughter. The victim told officers one of the men tried to take the child from his arms before fleeing.
The suspect was described as a white male with short facial hair.
“The Marble Hill Police Department takes all matters seriously, especially those that endanger our youth,” the department said in a statement.
